Does epoch suck or what?
 

I never had even 1 sale threw sponsors using epoch as their processors. I have now 4 sponsors that are using them & I am sending good hits to the sites.... Here is the way I rank the processors:

#1 Ibill
#2 Ccbill
#3 Globalsale
#4 Globill
#5 Epoch

No it doesn't suck. Only processor on that list that is comparable is CCBill.

Epoch seems to have a very unstable scrubbing system :(

having in mind many of the major per signup sponsors use epoch as primary processor and if you have good traffic you can maximize your earnings in many cases with them, probably what you posted isn't valid.

can you translate that into english?

another thing,you can compare processors directly only when they are used over the same paysite, you do have the option to chose and your traffic comes from the same source all the time. If you are comparing sponsors using different processors it's a big mistake. A billing system won't make the difference alone.

On one I use that has Epoch as primary and iBill as a backup more sales have been through iBill than Epoch. I've always tried not to push too many epoch sites because of that. Obviously others may find it different but I can only speak from personal experience.

However that ratio has swung back towards Epoch recently which from stats seems to be more iBill scrubbing harder than Epoch less. It seems the Novemeber thing made most processors scrub just that bit harder but then I'm still more than happy enough if it means they all stay in business and I can continue to earn through them.

What I mean is that they seem to change their scrubbing level during processing periods.

So if 100% is the norm, our stats often look like this:

Day 01: 100%
Day 02: 100%
Day 03: 100%
Day 04: 100%
Day 05: 100%
Day 06: 60%
Day 07: 60%
Day 08: 100%
Day 09: 100%
Day 10: 100%
Day 11: 100%
Day 12: 100%
Day 13: 100%
Day 14: 60%
Day 15: 60%
Day 16: 100%
Day 17: 100%
...... etc. :glugglug

You just don't know how to get sales :) I average 150-200/day with Epoch + 100+ cross sales via ezclick every day, so a total of 250-300 per day. I would be glad to post stats so you could see. Epoch is fine.

The adult industry which led the way to create volumes of transactions on the Net since it started with commercial sites has clearly shown no system has been perfected even to this day.

You should have seen what it was like in the early days.

Oh my God is all I can say. I don't know how most of us kept our sanity during the initial stages of online transaction processing.

Same days are great with them and others like the last week or so have just plain sucked..

Because they have a separate tour for each processor and use both Epoch and Ibill
We signed up with both and find that the Epoch promotions give us about 15% more sign ups than with IBILL from only SE traffic.

I think you will have as many different views on this as there are stars in the sky.

Personally I think I have some idea about how these processors work after all the time we spent investigate them when we built the MPA2 program. Im not saying that this is the only truth, Im just shearing my experience.

The processors will tighten their scrubbing every once and a while. Some days are much worse then others. This is because of that they have to keep the number of charge backs under a surtan %.

The good thing about this is that the processors don't do this at the same time. And it is then it is good to have the cascading!

How ever, is it so that witch ever processor that let the most credit cards through is the best one ? If a processor let everyone and his dog through, cant it be so that this processor then will get a very high charge back ratio, and then have a bigger chance of getting in trouble with Visa ?
