exclusive or non-exclusive licensed content?

as a buyer, which do you prefer and why?

i'm asking as i'm loading up my entire library for licensing @AdultCentro and i'm curious as to what buyers prefer?

Bump for you.... I used to have a lot of people that would order exclusive content from me. Some still do but a lot less.

mongercontent 05-20-2014 12:44 PM

cheers...i have to admit i haven't been keeping up with current events in the adult industry so i'm genuinely curious as to what buyers are looking for? we're in an incredibly connected world these days so what is used, how are where is becoming more critical as technology evolves. i assume buyers are aware of this and planning for the future, investments in content are certainly a consideration. so what are they looking for?

buyers want exclusives at non exclusive prices

Penny24Seven 05-20-2014 01:28 PM

semi-exclusive so it is not on every site out there and a hell of a lot cheaper then exclusive

I understand the desire of exclusivity and being able to brand one's site as having exclusive content, and review sites certainly have a hard-on for it, however, is it truly worth the investment? In this world of tubes and full-site rips, how many seconds does one's exclusive content retain its value? Simply curious.

i think you're confusing ownership/rights to content as opposed to access to content. one might be able to download anything they wish off the internet but that doesn't give them the legal right to use or manipulate it.

I'm not confusing them at all, surfers and thieves are. And that's my point, with so many thieving cocksuckers out there to track and send DMCA notices to, is it worth the much larger expense for exclusive content, only to have it downloaded and posted all over by douche bags?

original post is a b2b question. while what happens after a purchase may have an influence on buying decisions, it's taking the discussion off on a tangent. piracy is something we deal with in either case and in an increasingly connected and monitored reality, in time it will become less of an issue imho
