Anyone see the new Metallica video on netflix?
It's amazing, they still dominate metal. Not quote cliff em all but respect for sure.
|
Fucking Metallica... you serious? :1orglaugh
They suck:1orglaugh Yes, let us all run to Netflix to see what a bunch of 60 year old idiots are producing these days. I am sure it is groundbreaking. :1orglaugh:1orglaugh |
LOL "dominate metal"
Sure thing booster. It was really amazing to see all overdubs they threw on there in post-production to make them sound palatable. Metallica = Zzzzzzzzz |
If you like metal even a little and talk shit about Metallica than you are seriously messed up. I was shocked to see them still kick as so much. It was tight, clean, and dominate. The video was awesome too.
If you like Metal check it out. |
I saw Metalica at the Bell Centre about 4 years ago here in Montreal. They sounded good but the show sucked because they played "in the round" which meant in this case anyway, that the band was on a very large stage in the center of the arena. I didn't like it because they were so far apart, that I felt like they were all playing separately.
This summer they are back in Montreal at HeavyMTL / HeavyMontreal and I'm really looking forward to it. Hate them all you want, they still kick ass. |
what video ??
|
Never really liked Metallica much. Would take Megadeth over them any day.

Not sure how anyone can deny the validity of Metallica? Over 120 million albums sold and they are one of the most commercially successful bands of all time! On these charts they are ahead of Bob Dylan, Bon Jovi, Fleetwood Mac, Prince, Paul McCartney, Stevie Wonder, The Beach Boys and Kiss. Pretty decent company. |
Great video, well produced and the stage sets, Fanfuckingtastic!

I love Metallica -- ever since I was a little guy -- but metal is dominated by the hundreds of metal bands unheard by the masses.
metal is better than it's ever been, and Metallica is not really a part of that. My Aunt Judy knows who Metallica is. Are you talking about Through the Never? I saw that shit in 3d at the movies, and it was awesome. |
I still have a drumstick that Lars gave me on the "And Justice For All" tour. How much is it worth? I will sale to you for cheap. It has a red Metallica logo and is clearly used with some sort of tape on it for grip. Yes Lars used this and soaked it with his own golden sweat. I have my concert ticket taped to it. I had to fight two guys who tried to take it away from me after they saw Lars give it to me. Now I don't want it because I can't stand that band anymore. They were assholes to take Dave's music after they kicked him out of the band. "Kill'em All" still had not been recorded at the time they kicked him out.

The movie is great, definitely worth watching.

"Some Kind of Monster" is one of the funniest movies ever made. I've seen it multiple times and it never fails to crack me up.
