iTunes 11 is a abomination
 

Accidentally upgraded to iTunes 11 last night.

All attempts to revert to version 10.7 have been thwarted.

If my car didnt have a dedicated iPod attachment I would have ditched the iPod a while ago.

700+GB of MP3s and 3+TB of FLAC files.... life is pain!

i refused to update for a long long time, turned off all the notifications, came back from work one day to find it all had decided to download and install itself lol

iTunes sucks. I am a new user so am constantly asking veteran users very basic usability questions. The result? They don't know either!

What's wrong with it ?

It's bloated, all polish, no substance. the interface is counter intuitive. The column browse feature is unavailable (or at least I was unable to select it in the "view" tab)

If you have a large library like I do searching for artists and albums is frustrating. If your collection of MP3s consists of 130 singles you bought from the iTunes store, no problem.


I'll get used to it eventually. for now it's frustrating.

Agreed. 160GB is far too small.
