Paypal scam email ?
 

Can anyone pass along a phone number to paypal. I have tried to find one, with no success.

Also, has anyone ever recieved an email from paypal, saying that your account has been randomly selected for this maintenance, and placed on Limited Access status.

Then to have it go back to "regular" status, they request your username/password , Bank account number, and Credit card number. Is this email a scam? All the links do go directly to paypal.

There are toll free numbers for paypal there.

I went through the same bs after a few years of loyal service with them. It's funny though as I've gone through their user agreement twice and as far as account limitations go, I can't find anything that says they have the right to limit your account just 'cause (which was the reason I was restricted, no problems...they just wanted more verification information).

Oh and as a tip....when you get in touch with someone by phone, ask to be transferred to the resolutions department...the 1st level of customer service people do absolutely nothing for you.

Why did you have to bother us with that pic?

I've been getting the same email every day for the last week or so. And I don't even have a paypal account.

Yup, it's a scam. I was reading about this yesterday.
