I love guns and I've owned so many in my life, even the dreaded AR15 -- but I'm all for making it extremely difficult for everyone to get guns. You can own them, just put up with some BS please, so we can keep the wrong people from using the same channels that the law abiding/mentally sane people use.

With everything that's been happening lately, gun nuts can stop stating that all gun violence happens because of "black market" guns. There's been a lot of shit going down with firearms purchased through legal channels. And where do illegal guns come from in the first place? It's not like there's a Black Market Gun Factory making them specifically for criminals. They started out legal

Morgan Spurlock recent did a piece on guns and gun control. He was pointing out some of the sticking points in the fight over gun control including the size of clips etc. One thing he talked about was the expanded background checks. He said the polls showed 90% of people supported expanded background checks. Gun owners and anti-gun people alike were all in agreement, yet congress refused to pass is because of the pressure from the gun lobby.

It was pretty interesting to see how it all went down.
