My friend wants a boob job. Anything she should know?
 

I know there are tons of horror stories with implants floating around. My question is this. She's having the newer surgery done where they go in through your belly button. Anyone know the pro's and con's of this method and if it is safer or more dangerous than the other methods? Any help would be appreciated.

That's what I was going to suggest, and still will. I'd find the best doctor in your area. Maybe even suggest going outside the area to one of the bigger doctors. In the southeast, Florida might be a good place to look.

She needs to know that real titties rock, and fake boobs suck.

Yep that's the newest procedure I know of unless something else has come out. Less post-op pain etc so I hear.

Don?t get me wrong, real tits are great! If they have um.... It's becoming a big trend on the east coast now.. Who knows!

Very simple if shes like many girls she will start shopping around like its a pair of panties and those boobs will end up ripping her a new asshole.

Any real surgeon will charge 7500+ and will be located in a manin city like NYC not Queens NY.

I don't care how highly recommended the cheaper doc came she will regret the day she was born female.

I know tons of girls who got them done cheap and one by one is fucked, so im not talking to talk but rather from seeing so many get fucked.

The ones who spent the extra few bucks and got it done in NYC or LA etc. plus called 4-5 women who used the surgeon are doing real well.

Be Carefull of scars.....go through arm pit or belly button. Check out some refferences from doctor...my friend had a horrible operation that changed her life for the worst. Be very carefull and remember not to let the doctor dictate going to a bigger size. Just get a little pump!

Don't do it. 9 times out of 10, they end up looking like exactly what they are ... bags of saline.

There is a really *high* risk that she'll lose all feeling in her nipples.
Dunno about you, but that's enough to make me never do it.
If her boobs need to be lifted at all, they take the nipple OFF, tuck the breast up, and then sew the nipple back on.
Nerves don't come along with that ride.
Even if she's not getting lifted, there's still a huge chance that they'll brush up against the nerves during the surgery and do irrepairable damage.
Talk to a LOT of women - not just 3 or 4; I'm talking 15 or 20 before she gets this done. Ask about follow-up surgery, about loss of feeling in the nipples. Take a look at Asia Carrera's site, she talks quite a bit about her boobs. At first she was very happy, then later she says she can't stand having to continually go in to get them "touched up".
I wouldn't do it. It won't change HER, it will just change the type of guy that looks at her.
