Yep pretty old news but i'm glad they will appear at some point.

Episode 1 was on tv on Sunday there. I forgot what a horrible, horrible movie that was from start to finish.

And i am a HUGE Star Wars fan...

I think the news is that it has been confirmed today - It was just a badly kept secret before...

I tried getting my 11 year old to watch ep1 and he did nothing but laugh at the FX lol

2 and 3 aren't much better. But 1 was really, REALLY bad.

I can't believe they even did that to the Star Wars franchise. Hopefully the new movies are nothing like those. Though i won't hold my breath...

so bad.. i wanted to like it but it was just a mess. I actually love this review of the movie more than the movie itself!

What Lucas SHOULD'VE done for the prequels is this:

Combine all 3 prequels into Episode I. Have the kid turn into Darth Vader at the end of Episode I. This way, Lucas would have had two entire films without audience expectations (knowing how the story will end) and two entire movies to have Darth Vader being bad-ass and killing Jedi everywhere.

But no, stretch the story out to fill 3 movies when everyone knew how it ended anyway. Ridiculous.

No one ever listens to me, tho. LOL

In related news, my girlfriend finally wanted to see star wars for the first time (ik right?) so I had her watch IV, V and VI. She said what about I, II and III? I said fuck em they suck.

Can't wait to see it. It's a huge bonus to me that the original actors are back, and its awesome that it will be directed by JJ Abrams. People will go nuts in anticipation of its release...

i think i saw I and II once, III i skipped.

I think Episode II was ok, I and III are bad, really bad. My favorite still is 'The Empire Strikes Back'
