My experience has been that they always drive by, and never stop to pick me up. Not even once.

Build quality in 2000 was very good compared to other choices at the time .. lost a ton of value immediately, though.

I had a David Brown 7 or DB7 in the UK in 1995 loved that car I also had a Porsche 911 turbo that had some work done, like adding an extra turbo, engine blueprint and a 6 speed box in place of the standard 3 When like a bat out of hell. Insurance cost a fortune so the Aston had to go. I think overall i liked the Porsche better than the Aston . It used to eat Ferrari's for breakfast...

SpeedoDave 04-28-2014 02:41 PM

It is one good looking car.

mineistaken 04-28-2014 02:42 PM

looks very similar to some previous Aston Martin model. VERY similar.

MaDalton 04-28-2014 02:45 PM

i like them - a lot

Rochard 04-28-2014 02:59 PM

I am going to be visiting the Aston Martin plant in UK next September....

I was thinkin' of picking one up.

Then the wife reminded me we had just enough for a Kia Optima EX.

It'll do 0-60mph somewhere between the driveway and the grocery store.

Unless they fixed the transmission lag, when you drive it anything else but "sport" mode I'd stay away from it. It had an annoying lag at stop lights:2 cents:

I drive an Optima EX Luxury and love it! I was about to spend $60,000 on a BMW 3 series when I test drove the Optima just for shits and giggles, it was $23k less than the BMW and had twice the features.

John-ACWM 04-29-2014 06:10 AM

Beautiful, powerful, very expensive.

SekobA 04-29-2014 08:26 AM

C H R I S 04-29-2014 02:41 PM

Thing is a monster. I test drove one a few days ago - 0-80 in a split second next to century city.

This is my dream car.

And it comes with wireless headphones in the back and fits a carseat.

My wife said I can buy it but she'll divorce me.......

Spunky 04-29-2014 08:57 PM

Sweet looking ride indeed

kittykatt 04-29-2014 09:25 PM

335 with retractible hard top goes above $60k

sperbonzo 04-30-2014 08:29 AM

test drove the Ferrari FF, which is a similar idea..... Fantastic car, plenty of space in the back, even for me at 6' 3", but too expensive. with options and tax, about $400k USD

Yeah. When I told my wife the price, she just looked at me, shook her head, and said, "Now you're just being silly. It's a car, not a boat or a condo!" I said, "But 650 horsepower and we can put the baby in the back!".

She just snorted and walked away.

And that was the end of that.

:)
