To be honest I do not like giving or buying all time deals because then you can not know if it will be a long "life".
For example i have one site where I sell 1 year, 2, 5 years listings, but I never sell "for life" because I do not know what would happen, maybe I will sell the site in 6 months and person who bough listing "for life" would be screwed. And when I sell for 1 year, 2 year I keep my promise and buyer knows how long to expect. When buying "life" you never know.
