Right now we are in a pissing match with Russia over who owns the north. Nobody wanted it.. and we've always claimed it, but with the northwest passage opening up and the discovery of oil and gas up there, combined with Putin wanting to extend his reach, we are now on their radar. They apparently just kicked one of our Diplomats out of the country for backing The Ukraine.

So you voted for Putin and Russia.............................

Putin has decided that the West are too scared to move against Russia - The West can not afford another Cold War and nobody wants a real war - Putin will push as hard as he can and take what he can - There is a line somewhere, nobody really knows where it is - If either side put a foot wrong and put a step out of place then all hell will break lose...

Putin is far more likely to step over it than Obama - That's why Russia is the bigger threat.....

Shit... I'll take dozens.... over the bloodbaths that the west has dealt (directly and indirectly) in Iraq, Libya, Syria and Pakistan over the past decade or so.
