Juicyads having issues?

Anyone else having issues with them today? Stats are messed up and the mobile redirects are going to 504 timeout pages :(

Juicyads sucks.

Wizzo 04-22-2014 02:49 PM

We are doing some server upgrades today which will effect the display of stats and I will look into the mobile redirects as they shouldn't be effected.

3xmedia 04-22-2014 03:16 PM

issues 24/7

deltav 04-22-2014 03:48 PM

I really wanted to like JA, but their quality-to-value ratio just doesn't work out in any volume for my niches.

TheMoneyMan 04-22-2014 07:17 PM

I had issues with juicy ads back when I gave them a demo run last year. Their server had been overloaded and did not let me shut down my campaign. I got blasted with traffic and my server crashed from the huge volume of popunder traffic. That was 150$ poorly spent.

I do have some affiliates that run with Juicyads and can get profitable campaigns after a lot of the non performers have been removed.

Antokas 04-22-2014 08:29 PM

Yeah, stats are messed up today and redirects are not working. I'm used to wrong stats that I see from time to time. Despite that I like juicyads.

There has to be some kind of problem with the mobile redirects. Have you had the chance to look into it?

Klen 04-23-2014 12:26 AM

Well that explain why it is lower income then usual.

Mediamix 04-23-2014 12:29 AM

I'd rather use a ad company that has a few issues from time to time, then have to search for advertisers myself. Now I can focus on traffic and content.

.:R I O:. 04-23-2014 12:38 AM

Did juicyads fix their mobile redirects issues yet?

I agree. They have been the best sponsor ever. Sometimes when bad stuff happens... it is a sign of what's to come. That is what my concern is. There also doesn't seem to be much communication regarding the issue.

Not really sign of times, just sign of technical problems.Plus juicy ads is US based so you cant expect much communication right now.

LucyVanAngel 04-23-2014 02:11 AM

Stats still fucked up! Its really getting annoying!

VicMartin 04-23-2014 06:29 AM

loooooooooooool

JuicyAds is temporarily unavailable or experiencing higher server load than normal.
Please try again in a few minutes.

Current time is: 9:32am .. Thanks for your patience!

LucyVanAngel 04-23-2014 07:18 AM

i have noticed that juicyads mobile redirects do not work .....hence the huge decline in traffic and mobile $$$ today. whats even worse is that the juicyads htaccess file does not even fall back to the secondary buyer.
when i surf one of my sites on a cell phone it redirects to a blank juicy ads site !!! WTF is going on with juicy ??!!, i have already lost 200? today in mobile traffic and the day is still long

Klen 04-23-2014 09:44 AM

Lol,now all recent stats are on 0$.

I think I've noticed problems since Monday. Certainly since yesterday for sure. My problem is lack of communication. They could spend ten seconds putting a message up on Twitter or something. At the very least they could acknowledge there is a problem. This way we would know they are working on resolving the issue.

exactly, they could have said 1 single word and people would have understood to a certain degree but no comment at all, support offline and no answers to email complaints ...thats enough.
well i have pulled a links. was a good ride with juicy..until today... so long...

tigermtb 04-23-2014 11:29 AM

This thread came to my attention today.

The shortest reply -- MojoHost changed our mobile server settings, after the mobile service has been stable and running great for MONTHS. This was NOT done by our request. This happened in March on another part of our platform, as well.

I have already been in contact with Brad and the guys at MojoHost. The issues are being resolved.

We have more than enough server capacity to handle double what we were handling, this issue is directly related to a mistake made by tech outside of JuicyAds.

I'm sorry for the trouble and we expect service to return to normal.

Support is not offline, and has been fielding concerns all day.

I received 1 complaint via email today, that is all.

I see currently zero tickets related to the issue.

All data is still there. The problem is that the query to request it is timing out because the servers are under heavy load due to the changes MojoHost made to the servers without our request.

Yes i logged in recently and it showing it now.Does it now works all properly? And one tip:you might get your own system administrator, considering you running a service where every minute is important.

Its not stable yet, no.

My tech is still communicating with MojoHost to figure out what was done, and why, and getting things back the way they were.

Regarding our history --

Our switch and mitigation from ColoCation to MojoHost has been ongoing.
The mobile service has not seen much for troubles in its history and has been very smooth sailing since we doubled our capacity ahead of demand several months ago. Mobile revenues per redirect are UP, we are earning our clients more than we were before, and we are rolling out another update to increase revenues.

We have all had downtime, as have all of our competitors. I am spending a fortune on new servers, specialized hardware, and we have been moving our services from the old host to the new one. Most of these changes are not visible to our clients, but our uptime has greatly improved thanks to MojoHost and once in awhile the front end comes under heavy load. Even that system, is being upgraded. Two of the servers that were installed last week are directly for the front end of juicyads.com

When one of these threads pops up on GFY it highlights that there is a problem, but doesn't highlight the previous weeks, months that a system has been functional and working fine without a single issue.. comments like "issues 24/7" are completely ridiculous.

Our goals in 2014 are the building of a better ad network, this is our dedication to our clients. We expect to have the hosting move complete this year. I have hired more staff to accelerate our progress. This is the direction we are going in and its not going to be good enough for me until its good enough for you.

Moving forward.
