You like Jack Daniel's?
New "Rested Tennessee Rye" recipe just released.

I've been enjoying Tennessee Honey. Nothing like a glass straight with a joint to unwind after a tough day at the office.

5 minutes ago I enjoyed a shot of Gentlemen's.

What's Your verdict?
Yes, but prefer Makers Mark ;)

Occasionally but usually more of a Vodka guy.

I think I can say, that at 45 years of age, I've never actually swallowed ANY JD....
Perhaps I'm missing out - Perhaps not, but as Vodka is my 'drug of choice' perhaps I should keep it that way :) |
I'd try it.
What justifies these batches is it fragments of a barrel in a new barrel or part of a barrel mixed with another. They obviously want to stretch out quantity and have their company secrets i am sure some of the cheaper spirits other brands are white spirit rinsed from bourbon barrels. I wonder if the bottle of JD today is as good as it always was. For the record JD is my favourite drink just wonder how they possibly make enough for the world.
It sure tastes great! Enjoy! :thumbsup
Haven't sampled that one yet. Will give it a shot...

Sorry, but every "new flavor" of any booze always sucks.
JD, yuck. It's far too sweet for me. It's a mediocre product with great branding and marketing. Appeals to a wide audience, but not a good whiskey by any stretch.
havent taste this one..but it will be soon for sure
Hits the spot
American Honey started it, it's a Wild Turkey brand and the best IMHO.
I'm a rum drinker, but I do enjoy Jack with my friends from time to time. |
My Wife drinks the shit out of the Tennessee Honey. I prefer Gentleman on the rocks.

What justifies these batches is a Rye based recipe that has never been used before. Jack Daniel's has been a corn based whiskey with the exact same recipe since it's inception in 1850. In other words, the first recipe change in over 160 years. |

For the record, I'm not a fan of the black label jack that most of you have tried. I usually drink Gentleman Jack or Silver Select, both of which are pretty different. |

With cola it can be really tasty:1orglaugh:1orglaugh

For some reason Jack doesn't agree with me but his friend Jim Beam and I get along great!
;) |
who doesn't.
Cheersa! |
Crown Royal has always tasted so much smoother to me, but whenever anyone pours a JD for me I don't say no. Have not tried some of these newer varieties of it though. Maybe this summer I'll give them a whirl.

OK, I'll bite. No, it's 2014. What's your point? |
The jack daniels is too sweet for my taste.
JD is ok, but I don't understand all the hype about it.
I like Jameson for daily drinking the best, sometimes single malt scotch for special occasions. |
I love the Tennessee Honey with Baileys. We're taking a trip the the distillery in Lynchburg in a couple weeks.
I want to try that one that was on how its made.
I like Jack Daniels but it doesn't like me - I go all English soccer hooligan on it...
i like drinking JD but my fav drinking its CUBALIBRE :)
Jack on the rocks baby!
