    why is my site no longer showing up on google searches?

    Hi everyone
    My web site was on the first page of google searches and now it has dropped to the 4th page

    It is a wordpress web site and so I added a meta tag plug in and I messed around with that for a bit but that did not seem to help ... keeping in mind that I really have no idea what I am doing. I paid a web designer to make the web site for me.. all the words and obviously the pictures are mine and I have full control so I can edit anytime. I am learning as I go lol

    I think I need to learn more about SEO but I am hoping maybe someone here can lead me in the right direction

    Any tips or help will be greatly appreciated, thank you in advance

    I tried to post the URL but the forum wont allow me to because I do not have 30 or more posts ... will I get in trouble if I try to bypass that rule?

      I've had issues like that. Mine were poor content, quality issues, and probably lack of original content. Keyword stuffing, SEO plugin and reading black hat forums to gain knowledge and using said info to mess up. Me, the lack of taking my time to do it right before trying to make a quick buck. And I think Plugrush can also hurt.

                  So I posted a help wanted thread in the business section... hopefully someone will help me. I am willing to pay a little to get my site on the first page ...

                      You should really use text at the top of the page. Get rid of the way too big image at the top of your page. Use more paragraph titles.
                      Use a h1 tag at the top: <h1>Lacy Windsor Escorts</h1> and style it with css.

                      The purple text at http://lacyofwindsor.com/pictures/ is difficult to read.
                      Use less images, more text. I see a "pictures" image. Why not plain text? Hire a good webdesigner.

                                      You definitly need a better website, this one just make me feel you are cheap and things said on it are not really what you are.

                                      Also, coding seems upside down, checking "webmaster" website wich is on maintenance mod from a cheap plugin.

                                          If the site is new and with no backlinks it will be bouncing up and down (probably down only acutally ), I think. Unless you keep adding fresh text.
