Google indexing images from DMCA takedown notices on chillingeffects.org
 

Search for "apple twins" on Google Images - there appears to be only one image of them (#1 result for me), which is from a DMCA complaint at chillingeffects.org. The image is not actually linked on that page, so Google appears to be harvesting and following any plausible looking URLs it finds in the text.

How ironic that Google Images is indexing and displaying content that appears on a DMCA takedown notice. :1orglaugh

I was DMCA'd today because one of my servers had cached an image that I used for an Alphasky thread back in 2010. That's how I found this unusual situation... it's pretty silly that Googlebot would go and index DMCA'd content!
