Everything is closed here - 4 days of nothing...

Seriously? This is the first time you noticed the stock market closes on Good Friday?

When I was a kid there were laws against banks being closed that long; but of course, banks were not open on Saturdays then. The banks around where I lived would close from noon to 3:00 PM, then reopen for a couple hours to get around the law.

Seems to be a big event today like christmas which is widely observed throughout the world. Bigger than RAMADAN

I was going to wise crack about when you where a kid - But I wont on such a holy day:winkwink:...

It's worse in southern Spain - Easter is a seriously big deal, way bigger than Christmas.....

Congratulations, you may actually learn something today. To Christians Easter is a lot more important than Christmas.

Christmas celebrates Christ's birth, nothing more. Easter celebrates His giving His life for your redemption. Without Easter Jesus is just another Jew and the entire concept of Christianity is scrapped.
