This is nothing new. Dave's been this way for like 4 years now. ABC News is really behind on shit, and apparently so isn't OP. Here's a picture that is AT LEAST 4 years old

Not sure why guys feel the need to walk down streets showing off their muscles. It makes them look so insecure like they need to prove something to someone. He looks much better with the t shirt on.

I recently saw him do a new stand-up routine that was brilliant. The guy is a genius and I for one don't give a shit what he looks like.

If you knew how much hard work and dedication it takes you would be walking proud, looking in mirrors, feeling good about yourself and showing it too :2 cents:

John-ACWM 04-18-2014 06:50 AM

Good for him.

PornDiscounts-V 04-18-2014 07:07 AM

Sure he doesn't have a twin?

Chi 04-18-2014 09:18 AM

I used to belong to the Sports Club LA in San Francisco and Dave Chappelle was there a lot. Everytime I saw him though he was either sitting in the lobby on the phone or outside having a smoke. I couldn't really tell that there was any difference in his size from before, so I figured he just liked to chill out there.

Fast forward two years - I saw him do stand up late last year in a small club (The Independent) and he took his jacket off in the middle of his set. People were shocked and someone yelled out something about his arms, so he did a bit about working out for ten minutes.

I later quit the same gym in shame :helpme:Oh crap:pimp

They do it because they can. It's called confidence.

He looks much more confident thinner and with his t shirt on. Guys who specifically exercise to build huge muscles then walk around showing them off are insecure about something... seeking approval..

CourtneyR 04-18-2014 02:04 PM

Yes to men being toned, and in shape. No thank you to the body builder body.

What about small thin guys that wear tank tops?.... or do you just notice the studs?

It's fine to exercise and stay in shape.. but there's a point when it starts to look like they're just doing it for the attention.. which makes them look like douchebags with low self esteem..

Or they are simply attracting all the pussy that you can't.

He doesn't look more confident when slimmer; he just looks less threatening and that's playing to your inner insecurities.

Seriously, I've never given a shit about what a guy was doing with his shirt off, it must irk you because you don't measure up.

Aidoru 04-19-2014 12:44 AM

That honestly about a month worth of weight lifting, not that impressive at all

romeo22 04-19-2014 01:48 AM

clever move.Gym can make your body look sexier

SmutHammer 04-19-2014 09:04 AM

You can tell in this thread who has never committed to exercising and seen good results. At the point he is at he is feeling better has more energy and when you reach a certain pointe you no longer care about doing it for what others see and its more about making yourself happy. To those of you complaining. Just try doing a real diet, bet it won't last.

Yep, you can tell where their mind is because all they talk about is how it looks.
That's because looks are the most important thing to them because that's what they lack the most.

Yet they have no desire to work on their looks because it's too hard for them.
So then they have to find fault in those who do the work to justify them doing nothing.

These people are in "insecure loser mode". The type that make statements like "all football players are dumb".
They feel better about themselves now because at least they are smarter.
But it's all an illusion because the football player is in fact smart, better looking, making more money and getting more pussy.
The only attack the loser has left is to call them dumb.
