woocommerce is what I use. I really like it so far.

Supz 04-16-2014 07:46 PM

I use woocommerce and Presta shop. I have a shop with prestashop with over 2000 items on a decent server and it works great. The new version is very good. A lot of advanced features. You do have to pay for some of the better addons.

magento has unlimited possibilities. Take a look on Magento2 https://github.com/magento/magento2 (dev only)

Magento, oscommerce, woocommerce
work out what you need. Most important, shipping and billing. then pick your script accordingly.

LouiseLloyd 04-17-2014 09:36 AM

opencart or magneto

Although "best" is relative, I like Magento. There is a strong development community for Magento and they are owned by eBay.

American Psycho 04-17-2014 12:33 PM

Good to know. Always good to know a systems stability and longevity amd ebay gives both...

Any open source script is insecure to use.

I use magento. Great for running multiple site off of one backend and there are many plugins available.

Personally i used only oscommerce and it was nice experience. And every time when i heard magento,it remind me to one software company which was like some sort of contributor to magento and they wanted 150$ hourly for php programming.Crazy people.
