Its just I have always heard different words in my head - but all the lyric sites and youtube lyric vids disagree with me...

Listen to the first to 'Think' lyrics.... The a 'hard' THHHH on the pronunciation, but the third one (BLANKWORD 2) had a different inflection....

first one is unmistakably "laying", second one could be "finger" but it's a very large stretch of the imagination, and really, it's "think of".

Now, I know the 'Playing' is subjective - But the 'Finger Me Instead' is as clear as a bell to me !

nah, I hear the 'th', also check her lips on the video, tongue on teeth for the 'th' sound, definitely not the teeth on bottom lip for the 'fffff' sound :)
