MrBottomTooth 04-14-2014 04:34 AM

He was my favourite villain ever. Kid sure knew how to play a sadistic inbred. Even his death face at the end was priceless.

Bourke 04-14-2014 04:37 AM

That was a thoroughly satisfying death scene.

For those of us who haven't read the books....who did it?

Also, who would become king at this point?

That would be the obvious choice, but how would he know that Joffrey would ask him to fill his cup?

is this really that great? it has a lot of people talking but i've never watched it due to it being set in medieval times or whatever it is.

that's just the setting, I think the story could easily be ported into "modern" or "future" times without issue. The themes and story lines of GoT are not at all dependent on the time and setting.

EddyTheDog 04-14-2014 10:14 AM

WTF is a Joffery?..

I don't think so at all.

Lol, and how does that matter? TV series are about character interactions and so on, who cares when is it set up.

Any time with lots of hookers, dwarves and dragons. It works because they can be kept separate. It would not work at all with cell phones, internet and jets.

My vote goes to the wife. No particular reason, just subconscious guess.

Anyway - is it known who killed him from the books?

Bourke 04-14-2014 01:10 PM

Yes it is.

That's my guess too, she sure did want to become queen quickly.

I stood up and cheered in my living room, followed by a lap around the coffee table. Last night was a glorious day.

It's drama, sex, violence, and money. Totally relatable.

Two cents!

VikingMan 04-14-2014 09:33 PM

Anyone else notice the sets and wardrobe seem a little cheap this season? Some of the wardrobe looks like they just bought it off the rack.

You have got to be kidding. The wardrobe expense on that show must be higher than the whole production budgets of some shows.
