Is this true ? Russia and China announce decoupling trade of the US dollar

Russia has just dropped another bombshell, announcing not only the de-coupling of its trade from the dollar, but also that its hydrocarbon trade will in the future be carried out in rubles and local currencies of its trading partners - no longer in dollars - see Voice of Russia

Russia's trade in hydrocarbons amounts to about a trillion dollars per year. Other countries, especially the BRICS and BRCIS-associates (BRICSA) may soon follow suit and join forces with Russia, abandoning the 'petro-dollar' as trading unit for oil and gas. This could amount to tens of trillions in loss for demand of petro-dollars per year (US GDP about 17 trillion dollars - December 2013) - leaving an important dent in the US economy would be an understatement.

Added to this is the declaration today by Russia's Press TV - China will re-open the old Silk Road as a new trading route linking Germany, Russia and China, allowing to connect and develop new markets along the road, especially in Central Asia, where this new project will bring economic and political stability, and in Western China provinces, where "New Areas" of development will be created. The first one will be the Lanzhou New Area in China's Northwestern Gansu Province, one of China's poorest regions.

The cities are actually planned mega corporation headquarters to be populated once China and Russia unite to gain full control of the world economy.

Well, your sources are a well-known conspiracy "news" site, and Russia's international propaganda broadcasting service. So it must be true.

China is just a propped up paper dragon.. It's not gonna rule the world. China has cheap labor but they are just middle men. All the manufacturing done in China isn't "Chinese" companies creating products and reaping the profits. It's Western companies that deal with Chinese factories as the labor. The labor isn't keeping the big profits, the Westren companies are.

China just props up it's economy at home with constant subsidized building, yet they keep building shit their peasant worker force can not afford. This is why they have cities all over the country that sit empty, because just like these empty cities China it's self is empty of any real substance because it's just a cheap labor force for the world like Mexico was for the US.

Once China stops being a cheap labor force their days as a world power are limited. Russia isn't even worth mentioning, at best they are a regional thorn in the side of Europe because they have cheap gas & oil. Again once the gas and oil stops being cheap, Europe will stop dealing with Russia.. Then where is Russia? They are left comparing their limp dick size with their buddies in China...

Funny, the US owes China $1.2 trillion.

Again, you should check the facts. EU needs Russian oil but Russia no longer needs Europe as a customer. Russia finished the final stage of the East Siberia-Pacific Ocean pipeline in 2013 ->

Russia-China gas deal will be signed next month -> http://www.reuters.com/article/2014/...0N11N320140409

Yep, Russia is a regional power. But it's in a pretty damn important region (EU and Asia)

The US Dollar has been the standard since world war 2. And the way we are handling our economy is hurting that standard. Our economy is shit because we have a government that's more about milking the people with higher health insurance than building up our economy. China on the other hand is growing at rates that the US or any other country has never seen. Because of their growth, the cost of construction material has grown world wide.

There's a good article for this at http://www.project-syndicate.org/com...onald-mckinnon
