    AR Drone owners....

    I seem to recollect a few threads discussing AR Drone

    I picked one up for cheap but the app is bad.. closes out...

    Any suggestions?

      Hi Chris,

      Is yours the AR Drone or AR Drone 2.0?

      I have the AR Drone 2.0 but haven't flown it since last October when it got cold. I'm just about to take it out of storage and give it a try. Since then though I've upgraded my IOS to 7.0 or whatever the latest one is. AR has been good at releasing updates so maybe check with them. If you still have problems try rebooting your phone or tablet, close any programs you don't need running, etc..

      Also if your drone is a little older you may want to do a firmware update to it too. This wouldn't affect the closing/crashing of the app but it wouldn't hurt to make sure everything is up to date.

          Same here, haven't had mine out since last fall.

          It still runs fine on my Acer tablet - no probs. I haven't updated the software, though.
