15 Years in the Industry Looking for Work

I've been in the Industry for more than 15 years and have a vast amount of experience in many areas - from Affiliate Support, Webmastering, Writing, and everything literally in between. I work remote - but am extremely disciplined and take my job and work very serious!

Come and talk to me - there is probably a good chance I can at the very least help in some level with whatever task you are needing help with. The ONLY thing I cannot do is design and write scripts - but I can work with many many scripts and run them.

I've been in the good, the bad, and the ugly of the Industry and seen it all - :upsidedow

I can provide you with a full resume with my jobs and experience.. come and talk to me, if I don't know how to do it, I'll LEARN how to do it!

brassmonkey 04-09-2014 09:28 AM

Wizzo 04-09-2014 09:28 AM

Yeah no doubt - I'd love to, but that wouldn't be being very honest about things - I left it of my own accord, I didn't go down with the ship.. :winkwink:

Thanks, Wizzo

Seems to be a trend of old schoolers looking for work. :(

For what it's worth, I've known Tam for 13+ years. Although she has ended up working for some real bags of shit, based on my experiences with her, she's is an honest, loyal and hard worker.

lucas131 04-09-2014 09:40 AM

It's a real sign of the times when someone like Tam has to ask for work...

Thank you very much, that means something coming from you. :)

Thanks for the support guys, I mean it - I work my silly head off and always have - times have gotten hard for everyone, that's for sure, for sure - there is still a ton of money to be made and times are changing, sure, but if you are rolling with the times, you'll always land on your feet. I've just been extremely fortunate to be in it so long that I've seen the rolling, in ALL directions.

As far as working for the douchebags - that's had it's learning experiences as well, it's taught me what to look for and what to ask straight up front. :thumbsup

KickAssJesse 04-09-2014 09:52 AM

Tam was the first person to reply to the first thread I posted on any industry board. She'd be an asset to any program.

I remember when you popped in out of nowhere, there wasn't many of us girls and if you didn't show them your tits, they wouldn't speak to you - I loved how you stood your ground. lol

LOL

I damn near got sued over that thing a few times - Submitters would get it and not know or remember they sent me a gallery - they used an auto submit thing so they never actually seen it - they got the shock of their lives when they got my approval emails.... but it was fun as hell!

Thank you so much, I love people and working with them - and unlike some, I do take that serious - so it means a lot when people notice this. :)

I will do that, thanks for the heads up on that. As long as they are honest and treat their affiliates well, I'll be fine checking with anyone. :thumbsup

Age is all in your mind, honey - I've seen 20 year olds act older than most 50-60 yr olds. lol

In your resume, talk about how much MONEY you made at your previous positions.
Achievements and milestones are your selling points. They are examples of your skills.

Samples and examples are what companies are looking for.

For example, at Femjoy, we receive hundreds of photographers cold-applying every year. The vast majority of them don't supply samples of their work. Telling us how great you are at photography, doesn't compare to a picture.

If you are not getting into design or coding, learn how to gather data and read analytics because you'll need them as proof of your work.

Good luck

I understand and for the most part I have shown all of that in my actual resume - I didn't want it so long that they got bored and stopped and let it have some talking points and so on - but I covered as many of these as I could without it getting into novel state. lol

I do appreciate the tips though, for sure. :thumbsup
