We used to play on some sites like Voyeurweb for a while, then we decided to open a site for my wife, Alysha. We registered NaughtyAlysha.com on September 22, 1999, and I built my first (rather rough looking) site. We opened the site in November, and started getting sales right away.

We only charged $6.95 a month back then, and it wasn't until mid-2000 (about 6 months later) that we increased our monthly fee, and that's when the memberships skyrocketed. (Who would have thought back then... charge more money and you get more members?)

A couple screen shots from CCBill... our first sales, and our oldest still-recurring member... from May, 2000 - almost 14 years!!!

1997 here, started as free site builder/designer, who found a niche with fucked up niches back when yahoo had categories for them...spent a couple years at hahahahahahaha, after the change from CONDOM Project, worked on the Chronicles as a writer, then assistant editor, then editor, then founded the media department and launched the first online radio station to compete with Sharky and Dokk's show, also co-launched the first goth/alt porn sponsor (I don't think Amelia and Forrest had spookycash back then)...all that before 2000...

And CCbill still have the same frontend in 2014, more or less :)

Im 28 now and yes I was. Exploiting yahoo chat's bugs and running bots to promote adult sponsors in 99 i believe, then moved to NN Teen websites.

1998 with UGAS building AVS sites and upsells - I could knock out 10 a day and each one was 7 sales plus upsells - Math was simple in those days...

Publishing print magazines, shooting for print magazines, writing for print magazines, publishing free sites and membership sites etc :)

Started in 1999/2000 when I was 16. Started with PPC and was so proud when I got my first $50 check, showed it to family and friends and I got laughed at and told "This internet thing will never last"

Six months later I was an affiliate promoting paysites and making considerably more than anyone I knew. I learnt very quickly to STFU about my income

I've been in the industry since sometime in 1998. I started out as one of the main reviewers for JJJ TGP. If you had a gallery posted on it back then, chances are I am the one that approved it. I also probably rejected a bunch of you but don't yell at me because you know what you did. :)

We were one of the first to be on ifriends LOL back when we were making 50 dollars a minute on webcam :)
Then took my idea in late 99 and been doing that ever since.
Also pay sites and content since I have so much of that too but never been the main goal. Other have tried to copy but never seen anything great

Let's just say that my entrance to the game was IN 2000 and the lucky program I chose to affiliate myself with at the time was CyberErotica, now known as CEcash. I knew nothing about HTML, so I left gracefully and returned in 02/03 ish.

I started in mid 1999 - had a very popular forum where I posted my pics and had an "I'll show you mine, you show me yours" kind of format that quickly became a form where women were asking guys for pics as opposed to the opposite that we are all used to. lol
