I dunno.. it always scares me when many analysysts start downgrading the hell of a company. Iit seems like 90% of the time they will be upgrading it 2-3 months later after they've loaded up your shares that you sold them at panic-sale prices based on their downgrades :winkwink: |

GoBigTime, so did you get on the Short Line express at all before yesterday?
This might be an interesting call for the summer. Sales volume at IBILL will be a wild card here. Its hard to tell what kind of numbers IBILL will add (im guessing low) and whether Intercept will be able to straighten out its non adult problems that are dragging down their bottom line. If they are unable to get that Wachovia loan that is currently having debt covenent problems resolved that will real make thing bad. I wouldnt be surprised to see a huge drop then as they have 78% institutional investment and just a few more of the big boys pulling out will create a whole new meaning to the term pain for shareholders. The lawsuits against them would seem have problems. These firms dont seem to get it that IBILL's volume didnt drop because of not being in compliance with VISA, but rather it came because of client dissatisfaction with service on their accounts, the decision to charge $750 while their competitors rebated, the decision to withhold checks to force clients to get their VISA paperwork in order and a host of other issues that Intercept could not have so easily foreseen in September/October. Reading these firm press releases, they make it sound like IBILL's clientele were all scum bag porners who were going to be hammered because of their shady business practices and that Intercept should have known this and disclosed this. If resolving these suits would add any significant upward movement, then a summer/fall long position might be profitable. |
