The problem is, they make these drugs and test them for the required amount of time then send them out into the wild. Usually there is no "long" term testing, so it might be ok for use age for a year or two. However these drugs aren't really meant just for a year or two as the pharma companies want rebills to last till the user dies.

You take this shit for 5 years or 10 years and then it's gonna fuck something up. I somewhat believe this is why the pharma companies routinely discontinue drugs and reissue them slightly changed with a new name. This way they can continue selling the same thing under a new name to lessen their liability risk for the damage long term medication is certainly toning to do.
