which HD file format has the best quality?
Which has the best quality format for HD video? wmv? mp4? mkv? or other?
|
MKV is not a video format.
|
file format has little to do with quality... you mean which codec offers best quality?

Uncompressed or losslessy compressed (HuffYUV, Lagarith) AVI. Be ready for some large files though.
|
you should use what most devices can play without extra codecs etc
and that is right now H264 in an MP4 container |

I recognized Eddie's Cameron Bay shots (a performer that turned up HIV+ last year): http://tour.seducingangels.com/images/girlholder.jpg If I were you, I would be more concerned about using Zombaio as a payment processor (do a GFY search on Zombaio)... :2 cents: In answer to your question, I think most sites are using h.264 mp4 for their streaming videos these days. Have luck! :smilie_we ADG |
I would say mp4

H264 in an MP4 container
|
MPEG-2 , 4:2:2
it give you all color correction options into an editing system mp4 into h.264 is 4:2:0 it's very compressed, and it's hard to make color correction into editing I suggest you to shot into mpeg-2 if you shot into mp4, h.264, you can always capture your video into editing system at mpeg-2 depend if you need color correction or not |
I quite simply just enjoy toilets... Public or private - ITS ALL GOOD...

MP4 is a container like MKV, thus not a video format.
