Wordpress plug-in, JQuery or what? How is this done?

On load, the thumbnails have an average color attached to them before fading into the actual thumb.

How is it being done, is it an off the shelf solution?

So is it a WP plug-in, jQuery, CSS or what? The theme itself is no longer available.

I don't have the time - and I see no point to do that, But you could see the source and check it on your own:

That's the CSS -
http://www.deceptivemedia.co.uk/wp-c...ific-popup.css

You can check also the html of the page by yourself.

If I were you - I would copy paste the html into new file and check it line by line until I find what I need - looking around the head and body tags - to see location of external js files etc.
Again as some of the guys said : it's not hard to adapt, but if you don't want t pay someone to make it - do as I wrote :P

Good luck.
