Artsy-Fartsy*

Anybody like this look?

Original shot in Color with a little photoshop magic thrown in - curious about what you think?

It would be good with 5000ml of cum splattered artistically on her face.

(....which I believe to be the opinion of your average porn user)

What is the background comming through on the shaddow?

The background was a white brick painted wall. I used a strong "hard" light and because of that - it washed out the detail everywhere except in the shadows. Here's a behind the scenes pic -

The color looks good, bringing out her natural eye color would probably be cool too..:winkwink:

i like it. looks more 'photo' than 'porn'.

looks like a perfume advert. Very nice but not sure how many of your average one hand surfers care much about art.

Dean, I'm curious about the black (plastic?) partitions.
Are they there to simply provide privacy, a visual border so you don't shoot loooong slanted shots, to soak up light (being black), to reflect light somewhat (being plastic)...
What do they do?

Mutt 03-07-2003 09:12 AM

photo is on the arty side but i think it's still quality erotica. shot yesterday.

Very nice, but I think it would look even better if it was black and white. Also like someone said, bring out here eye color.

Hope you do it. I'd really like to see it.

Very nice.. bit similar to the result of the photoshop trick to colorise a BW photo and very artsy :)

Hey Carrie - the black plastic was there to subtract light from the sides of the model. If you look at the models arms in the pic that I posted above... you'll notice a *very soft* transition from light to dark at the outsides of the models arms. If I had moved the black panels in closer - this transition would have been more pronounced - looking back I wish I had moved them in just a little closer.

The reason I do this sometimes is that especially on a white background, the "dark edges" of the model looks very nice against a stark white background. Here's another sample of one that I shot and is a little more pronounced. See how the edges of the model really stand out on that white background? I would not have gotten that effect without subtracting light from the edges of the model.

Hope all is well -

arty is always good, and then the models get hot, and realism starts to take over :)
