Real estate is all about highest value use.

So, making a park out of it seems strange.

The latter were unsettled last month when there were reports that Hotel Praha?s new owner, the PPF investment group of Petr Kellner, the country?s richest man, planned to raze it to the ground.

On Tuesday, PPF confirmed that plan. The land will be used as a private park for Open Gate, the group?s elite school, which is building a new branch close by.

park and exclusive high school. ofcourse, that guy is the most rich person in Czech republic and he is also in the one hundred richest person in the world.
but anyway, the hotel was masterpiece of communist architecture (in a positive way) and it should be rather historic sight then a park :-(
