I'd say Coorparoo, but you already know that! :glugglug

From Oxley?... Will you be driving to the prison out there or something?

Ipswich has been seeing good returns and that's pretty close I think...

If you want a suburb close to the city, then try Holland Park or a little further out, Mt. Gravatt... both will be seeing good returns over the next few years.

Failing all of that, try Inala - it rocks!!! :winkwink:

Of course, Coorparoo too - I have 2 houses there so it's sure to be a good investment suburb!

:glugglug

Yeah, don't think you'll make it to manly in 30 minutes, unfortunately.

Yah... no chance I would say... Unfortunate as that is a very nice part!

diggy 03-06-2003 11:52 PM

wynnum has great fush and chups

BRISK 03-06-2003 11:55 PM

Sydney :thumbsup

The Logan motorway runs from Loganholme to near Oxley. Loganholme sucks but it's not too far from Redland Bay. Only problem is the Logan motorway is a toll road.

A prison? oh great :).

I'll be looking to both rent and invest.. Ipswitch is a no go situation as far as renting/living is concerned.
I'll be coming from a north coastal town and really don't want to go way out west or back to the city.. so I was thinking coastal brisbane or some sort of nice hinterland area.. maybe riverside.. but I think theres a river near oxley... hmmm.. with DSL...

45min... hmm.. that blows.

I like the city, it's where all the action is. :thumbsup

action is over-rated. :) plus it's a bastard to buy down there. I'd much rather be near the water up here in a sleepy little coastal town. I lived in the inner west for 6 years.. it was good.. but.. you know.. i'd rather chill out by the water than go clubbing..

Well Logan would be good... Perhaps try Cornubia, which is pretty quite... You could get something nice on the Logan River I would say... we were looking at acreage on the Logan River not long ago - nice and quiet!

Where are you from?

Sausage 03-07-2003 12:33 AM

Good suburbs to invest in would have to be Chermside, Aspley, Bridgeman downs etc. Getting more expensive by the day. Ok so it's northside, but it's a cert.

Cheers.

Fuck Bridgeman Downs and all that shit. Middle-Upper Class four bedroom brick nightmares in cul-de-sacs! Dentists and lawyers with their spoilt brat kids... FUCK THAT SHIT!

Tasmania :thumbsup

though if you dont want to be that far south
I can highly reccomend Highgate hill or West end in brisbane - it used to be a bit divey but with inner city expansion its quickly become the new Trendy yuppie area - it still has a lot of its old alternative feel - and ther are soem great bars and coffee shops there

anywhere bewteen bris and the coast is pretty lame

Dont live in surfers - we just moved from there
..only stayed 9 months - unless your a tourist it pretty much sucks dick

as one of my mates said:
"you know you're in a fucked up city when its 2am and you can(literally) buy a kangaroo scrotum golf ball bag from over a dozen stores but cant find a liter of milk anywhere"
