Apple fans will go nuts buying them up and many people who left to go to Android for the bigger screen will go back to Apple. I think sales will go through the roof and so will AAPL stock :thumbsup

Apple users who switched to good droid phones will NOT switch back, why would they? They'd lose features that makes the higher end droids better phones.

When it comes to these tech companies theres really nowhere else to go. After mobile, computers and small devices they already did it all. Until they invent robots or something.

So the only spike left can come from a big change in their current products. So this screen size change will be very big for sales.

I'm looking forward to it. I have an iPhone 5 (not a 5s). I like it and it works well but a bigger screen would be nice. An edge to edge screen would be great.

I know a lot of people who have a 4 or 4S and skipped over the 5 series and are waiting for the 6. I just know its going to sell out and the lines will be longer than ever for one.

Very few people who have the small screen size want it to stay that way, most want a change and they will buy

I like the size of my iPhone 5s. I've looked at friends' Androids, etc., but prefer the size, weight, and feel of my iPhone.

Making the change from iphone to high end android devices was a great idea. I could never go back to ios even if they finally offered a decent screen size.

Ditto, one hand and I hit the whole screen with a thumb on the 5S making it easier/safer to navigate while mobile. Bring it up to 4.7 or 5.5 and doubt I could hit the whole screen while holding in one hand. :2 cents:

I use bluetooth for calls but if I did hold iphone to my ear it looks normal and pimp since it's Gold. Holding a 5-6 inch droid to your head and you look like a tard. Hater's gonna hate. :1orglaugh

The only thing Apple needs to do really in order to compete with Android (let's not talk apple vs samsung, let's talk ios vs android when it comes to sales and market dominance) is to simply allow people to own their devices, not dictate how they can be used.

If they'd simply do away with the whole jailbreak thing and allow people to "root" their devices (which, like android devices would void the warranty), and allow them to install apps from 3rd party places (while making the user accept the choice to do so like android does); they'd actually have a leg to stand on when it comes to controlling the market.

Until then, it doesn't matter how big they make the screen...

Apple is going to catch up to the rest of the cell phone industry and finally make larger phones? About time.

I think Apple would dominate very quickly, if they simply doubled battery capacity.

I was fucking stunned recently when someone's iphone completely locked up, and they couldn't pop the battery out to restart it. I'll leave the why's of that to the tinfoil hat brigade, but just from a user POV that is just ridiculous to be unable to do that :2 cents:
