Question for Martial Artist types...

Ok, this is do with a photo someone wants me to take, and its a bit hard to explain... So bear with me - Its probably easier for you to understand than for me to describe...

But if you were in a martial arts stance, where your body is facing left, left leg back, leaning back as if you wanna kick with your right foot...

Your left hand is a fist, so you can punch, and your right hand is flat, so you could block...

Which hand would *normally* be higher than the other?

It doesn't really matter, cause I will shoot it both ways - But which would be more 'realistic' to those who actually perform martial arts?

Cheers if I get n answer, no problem if I dont :)

PS : The Martial art in question isn't specific - Its just a generic pic of a toned fit guy who doesn't do MA but just wants it look right to those who do...

Not a martial artist, but the right hand would normally move up and down as well, no matter what martial arts is used.
