Why not borrow from a credit card instead? Even if you have a bad credit card at 18% interest, the total loan would only cost you about $540.00. Why pay $1500 to borrow the same amount of money?

Have several credit card that I can get money at 0%... if you are in Canada or US I'm pretty sure you can get it.

I would shy away from loaning money to anyone that can't manage a small sum like that because it tells me they already have bad credit and/or completely overextended.

And 50% just spells desperate on top of that.
