Host has email issues - what options are there?

Okay, so over the last few weeks a few of my mail messages have been blocked for having a poor rating (I'm guessing someone in the range is spamming emails). This week, my ability to email anyone has been all but removed. I am unable to send clients work, I am unable to reply to business enquirers. Long story short, it sucks big testicles.

I contacted my host 48 hours ago and they say that they've found the solution and have submitted spam list deindexing. That's great and all, but my clients are no better off as I can't actually fucking contact them.

What do I do to stop this happening in future? I know very little about emailing systems and how to ensure I have the reputation so that they don't get blocked.

if you were to get hosting from me i could offer you a dedicated ip where all your emails go thru your own ip so no one besides you can fuck up the ip reputation.

hit me up on icq if interested.

I switched hosts for this very reason. The DNS and the rDNS need to be setup correctly and you need an IP that doesn't suck. You can check the IP with any free IP spamming checks available... I would bet $1 that your host fucked up the email settings.

Getting a new IP is usually not difficult either.

Are you sure it is not your internet provider IP restricting the emails going out?
