Anita Baker Learns of Warrant for Her Arrest on TV

Grammy winner Anita Baker was home watching the news on TV Thursday when she learned that a warrant for her arrest had been issued by authorities in Detroit. "WHATTT??!!" she wrote on Twitter. "Sittin' in the kitchen watching this on TV. BIG time crazy." The warrant was issued on Wednesday after the "Sweet Love" singer failed to appear in court for a hearing in a civil lawsuit against her. The 56-year-old was sued by Ray Smith Painting and Decorating for allegedly failing to pay $15,000 for services rendered at her Grosse Pointe home.
