Im working on my next submit bot and looking for good ideas for application. I will give the bot to anyone that provides a usable idea for a submit bot.

Is it a client side application or server side? I wrote a client side submitter quite a few years ago. I may have some ideas for you.

Could be either. Currently i have one of each running actually...

Mine was old school (like I said, it was years ago). It was for mgp's and tgp's. It would auto generate backlinks in the header for gallery submissions.

No matter which route you take (client or server side) over emphasize error checking. For each submit you can catalog how many fields are needed to be filled per site. From there, make sure no fields are left blank. If so, create a log report. Sometimes sites change the id's of input fields when they do a redesign and this type of error checking will ensure that your bot stays current and does not go "stale".

Some other things would be to take any preview image and resize it according to site rules on the fly. This would also apply to length or size of video files.

I'm sure you have all of that down but it doesn't hurt to hear it again. What do you have so far? It would be easier for us to give you ideas if we knew what features you have built in so far. Do you have a page that lists the features and capabilities of the submitter?
