Zombaio late AGAIN
For the last 4 months, Zombaio has been late with every single one of my payments. Most recently, the payment I was expecting on the 13th was late (surprise!) and their lame excuse for it "we are processing the payments manually" has me really concerned. Granted, it did finally appear to have arrived yesterday. That is to say it arrived in my e-wallet, after being 7 days late, so I transferred it to my MasterCard. I received the message "loaded to MasterCard". Yay. Right? Nope. It never did arrive in my Red Pass card. Should have come on the 13th and after the load, should have transferred immediately. I'm still waiting. According to them, it was a "banking system error". So, I called the bank. No problem on their end.
I don't imagine I'm in the top 10 or even top 10,000 on Zombaio's priority list because my earnings aren't that sizeable. I do suspect that I am somewhere near the bottom of their list. If there existed a stack of papers on someone's desk, my payment would be way on the bottom. That said, I can understand why it would take this long. BUT ... why is this MY problem? They are the ones who claim to pay out on a certain date. This is MY fucking money and no matter how small that little payment is, it's MINE. Not YOURS, Zombaio, MINE. Give me my fucking money. This is ridiculous. I don't want excuses. I want my money. Unfortunately, my bill collectors don't buy my excuses for why I can't pay them. So, why should I buy yours? Amanda36c |

Amanda, to summarize those threads Richard linked - it's well established Zombaio is unreliable. If this bothers you (understandable) switch to a different processor.

You guys should stop working with employees who had bad reputation before in terms of financial services there might be a connection between the old company and a new company.

Perhaps Zombaio is pregnant?

I think they process everything manually because it's easier to skim and delay payments.
Aren't there basic banking laws in Sweden and organizations that monitor and regulate these companies from fucking the public over? My God, if you bounce a check the bank jumps all over your ass with fees, so how can a credit card processor be allowed to withhold public funds and fuck hundreds of people weekly with delays on payouts? Where's the Visa Sheriff to protect webmaster's rights? Sound corny, but it would be great to have a Visa complaint department so Visa can thump their skulls and penalize them for not forwarding payments on time. I'm sure if Visa banking officials knew funds were being held up from purchases with the Visa logo and interest wasn't being payed on delayed funds, they would be in a lot of legal trouble. Withholding funds is against the law. They are borrowing your money, without your permission, which is a simple definition of theft. |
Since we signed up with Zombaio they have not once sent us a payment.
We have made several sales and they have kept the money. |

I don't know what the issue is with Zombaio and don't pretend to. However, it is a great idea to have multiple payment processors. The best ones are the ones you know already such as
http://www.segpay.com http://www.ccbill.com http://www.epoch.com http://www.netbilling.com etc Stuff can happen with anyone for any reason. Even reliable processors and service providers can have issues once in a while. So what you may want to do is sign-up with several processors and if you experience any problems that may take longer to fix than you are comfortable waiting for, plug-in one of your other processors until everything is fixed. |

I just don't understand why people continue to use them when there are so many other reliable, accessible and solid solutions available!

"Going, going, gone! I dialed 911 a long time ago. Don't you see how late they're reacting?" |

I definitely wouldn't put all my eggs in their basket, but if margins are important to your business and your cashflow can manage a few late payments here and there, they are definitely worth being in the mix in my opinion. |

I could barely get good enough "customer service" to OPEN an account with them...so, given as long as THAT took, plus threads such as these...
No Zombaio for me...I don't need that hassle. |
Hey you! Fancy meeting you here :)

There is definitely something not good happening over there as I have had a ton of new applicants coming from Zombaio.
If you don't want to pay the MC annual fee and you can show me proof of processing of more than 100/week, I can waive the fee. Send me a mail if interested. P.s. We have never missed a payment :2 cents: |

I'm of two minds about this....on the one hand it does worry me that peeps are receiving payments late (mine have all been arriving on time but it appears that's not the case for everyone). On the other, when I compare how much $$$$ I've saved with the lower processing cost (9.9% compared to 15ish% taken by other processors, let alone the Visa/MC fees), I've saved a ton of cash in the year or so that I've used zombaio. Financially thus far choosing zombaio has been a smart choice for me.
If I was a huge company processing 10's of thousands a week I'd probably expand my billing options but as a small business zombaio has really been great to me- a low bar to entry with no start-up fees and a higher payout cut than I'd receive elsewhere. I hope that I don't end up eating those words and that everyone who is overdue on payments receives them soon +1 on lagcam's comments about back-up options as well, I think that's wise no matter which processor(s) one selects. |

I'm def paying attention to what's going on as the fact that some people aren't getting paid is worrisome, all I'm saying is at this point at least the bottom-line benefits to me of using zombaio far exceed the risks. I do understand that online processing in general is a risk, I've been there before and it wasn't fun. I actually had to take the last cam site I worked to court for funds owed to me when they closed (luckily they settled and I got paid back in full including all costs associated with filing, lawyers, etc) but that experience was an aggravation I wouldn't wish on anyone. Having to wait for funds overdue is frustrating and unacceptable. I hope everyone waiting on their payments receives them soon. |

Since those days, some processors have tried to get around those fees (and now the MC one) but it never works long-term, they always go under and it ends up being the small webmasters who were too cheap to pay who suffer (again, I've been there). Suck it up, pay the fees, and go with a major stable processor, that's my advice. |

the rebill issue is a huge one, for sure. it's not a concern to me personally as I only process non-recurring payments but I am paying attention to this thread regardless
I do see both sides here and I'm paying attention to POVs on both sides. right now it doesn't make sense for me to switch but if I didn't have a secondary processing option already I'd be finding one ASAP. I do appreciate y'all who are raising concerns, they're def valid. |

While others may have different experiences, in my experience, Verotel does not pay. |

I would recommend CCBill and Epoch as alternatives to Zombaio, as that is what I personally use. Zombaio's late payments should be a red flag to anyone using them. Don't put all your eggs in one basket. Your mileage may vary, but, in my experience, Verotel does not pay. |
Hi,
Just wanted to pop in and say.... If you bill with any third party biller, 2 third parties, 3 third parties... you are getting your asses handed to you and saying thank you, may I have another. Carry on ladies |

Verotel does pay. I never got any problems with them. Always great support, always pay on time. Contact Jason he will look into your problem :thumbsup |

I'm not pursuing Verotel for payment or even an apology any more, just sharing my experience. I've been in this business since the 90's. I currently have sponsor accounts with CCBill, Epoch, and Zombaio and affiliate accounts with CCBill and Epoch. The only billers who have failed to pay me are iBill, Glo-bill, and Verotel. Maybe I am the only person in the history of Verotel who has ever not been paid. |
