Pimproll/Hostedtube Nightmare
 

I've been out of the game for a while, but heard about Hosted Tube and thought it would be a good place to park my old domains, and maybe start doing some promotion to see how it goes.

To try it out I had to signup with Pimproll, which asked for a URL from which I will be referring traffic. Since I don't have a specific source yet, I just entered "google.com".

A day later they emailed asking for a traffic URL. I explained that I just wanted to use Hosted Tube for my domains. I didn't hear from them again for 2 days, so decided to try and signup again, this time being more clear about what I was doing. I still haven't heard from them and fear I have been blacklisted.

Have the Pimproll support staff completely missed the point of the Hosted Tube service?

You didn't think to enter one of your parked domains? You didn't think that they would be able to make the connection even though they publicize that you can park your domain as a tube?

The real hell here is having to deal with you.

You are all right, I sound like a total drama queen. After being away from the industry for so long, I'm out of sync with the culture of customer support at adult service providers (they have to deal with so much riff raff). Hopefully a rep will post their ICQ here and I can apologize for my poor attempt at signing up and be forgiven.

I would hardly call this a nightmare, please be careful with how you word your thread titles. I'll pass this thread to Glen and I'm sure he will contact you and help you get this straightened out. All you had to do was enter one of your domains instead of Google.com and this would have went a lot different.

I did give them one of the domains in the follow up email, but that was a few days ago. So I guess I'm panicking at the thought of never being allowed to own a fully automatic porn tube.

I fully regret the way I signed up originally. I'm used to signing up for things in a rush, just to try them out. I didn't know it was such an exclusive club.

It's all good, Glen should be online soon, the office is just opening for the day.

I recall your application, it was put on hold because you didn't give us one of your urls, this was explained in the email and that all you have to do is respond to the email with the info and you would get an approval by me no problem. No black lists.
