Posting new site on GFY
 

With so many webmasters, producers and business men, what would be the benefits of posting a new site on GFY.com? Just Curious.

Consider this, if you found a niche with low competition, wouldn't you encourage competition as soon as other producers see your stuff and discover its potential? :)

That is why people are not posting their unique sites there. That goes for affiliates, paysites - another story, they need to spread the news about new paysite because they want traffic. Internal traffic is not enough.

back when tgps were big I posted a gallery on another webmasters site and saw someone had copied my sales text word for word and just pasted it on their own galleries, plural. I felt so violated lol.

lol I know the feeling, a website was selling my videos for $4.95 while I had them for $22, no wonder, we have production costs, contacting the host and the webmaster got the videos removed.

And I see now why some are posting in the announcements, of course for affiliate marketing you would want that, I was just about to post my site in the announcements but the minimum 30 posts saved me. :1orglaugh

I reconsidered because I believe the website I currently have has little to no competition.

More and more programs are becoming "invite only."
We had/have same problem with dvd burners selling new releases for 5-7 when we have to sell them for 22-29.
If you sell dvds of your stuff, let me know, maybe we can offer them in our net shop.

I hear all ya'll, I have an idea for a niche. Its not being done by anyone. If it is, it's buried. Either way, there's no way I'm sharing it on a forum lol.

so what is this about? you have new site, but dont want to post here, but you want affiliates, so you are asking if its worth to post it here, get affiliates, but someone may steal your idea, so you are affraid? ... very informative thread man ... :) :upsidedow :)

Make sure you get far enough ahead of any rival first, keep it away from other producers for a bit, long enough to produce a load of content, then jump in here and get the affiliates on board. :2 cents:

@JuicyBunny - We dont offer DVD's, more hassle than its worth and very low % of customers prefer DVDs

@thegreatestporn - That's how I'm feeling but affiliates make $$$

@wehateporn - I think you have a good strategy, will stick to Adwords and marketing for now to get the word out.

@Lichen - lol you can laugh but many of these "webmasters" probably have connections with a studio :P
