wasn't so bad 4.7 centered in Westwood. Quite the little jolt to wake up to

USGS downgraded it to a M4.4. Epicenter was near Encino around Mulholland Drive and Sepulveda Blvd. Hopefully, the art and relics at the Getty Museum are bolted down well.

It was a non-event here.

Joking apart i lived in San Diego for 16 years and some years back i was woken up at around 3.45 am felt like someone was pushing the bed backwards and forwards, i looked out of the window and it was very bright almost daylight and saw the ocean going one way, the glass fence going the other way and the house another way. A bit like a snake moves. Scared the shit out of me as i was still partly asleep and i thought i was dreaming. The real scary part was that unlike being on a ship which rocks and rolls, in an Earthquake you cannot get off :helpme

Woke me up, I'm a few miles from Westwood. Didn't bother getting out of bed though.

First they said westwood and it was 4.7, now they say Encino and it was 4.4. I live down the street from Encino.

I had a picture fall from the mantle

Someplace between the two.. Saying Sepulveda and Mulholland 4.4 I think is where they settled it at.

Sepulveda is about 200ft from my house, so yeah, I was close. Sepulveda is one of the longest streets in LA.
I was on Mulholland on Thursday night, coming back from dinner at Dukes, great ride, kinda cold, should have worn something warmer than a gfy hoodie

I was still asleep. In that place where your first alarm has already gone off but you have yet to go too overboard with the number of times you hit snooze. I was dreaming when I felt the shaking and told somebody in the dream that we might really be in a J.J. Abrams production and it was just a special effect. Then, I woke up and my bed and windows were shaking. I guess, I am even a geek in my sleep.
