Americans think Putin is stronger than Obama

http://www.realclearpolitics.com/articles/2014/03/14/poll_putin_seen_as_stronger_leader_than_obama_1219 35.html

Pretty interesting poll they ran. Surprisingly(or perhaps not), Putin is seen as a much stronger leader than Obama by Americans.

Frankly I don't understand the negativity of attitude but in this day I applaud Putin for taking a moral high ground and strong stance with Ukrainian situation.

fpcgary 03-15-2014 05:23 PM

Fox News has become the pro putin/pro tyranny network. Funny

Sid70 03-15-2014 05:24 PM

Hello bots, dafuck are you doing here?

adultchatpay 03-15-2014 06:07 PM

He is stronger literally.

kane 03-15-2014 06:11 PM

I would imagine that some of this has to do with the fact that we see and hear about Obama every day. We only see or hear about Putin when he is hunting bears shirtless or fucking with other countries so people have a skewed vision of him.

Alex1776 03-15-2014 08:46 PM

He stole the shit out of Bob Kraft's Super Bowl ring!

AlienHouse 03-15-2014 08:52 PM

I'd rather Putin here than Cameron.

They definitely have a right slant but all other main stream news have a left slant. ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, PBS and to include if you want to call them news The Daily show and Colbert.

Here is just a small list of shit they lied about from 09-2010 covered by John Stewart.

Link has a video from his show for added entertainment value.. http://gawker.com/5814309/jon-stewar...nasty-fox-news

The problem with Fox News and any 24/hr news network, is they actually report very little news. It's mostly just opinion pieces and talk show hoots meant to look as if they were New Reporters sitting on sets that look like a news room.

Fox is just one of the worst offenders, because they Go way overboard picking and choosing the so called news they deliver. Essentially they mislead their viewer base and spoon feed them what they want to hear.. Added to this, they just about never correct their miss statements and outright lies. Even when proven with out a doubt that they have reported something not true they don't retract it,

The reason for this, is because as I said above, they show almost no news but almost 24/7 opinion/gossip. While CNN, MSNBC and other various 24 hr news networks are much the same, they at least retract statements that were misleading or found to be wrong.

Added to this many times Fox News so called guests have been found to be coaxed or outright misleading giving a overall feel that Fox just uses people whom will say what they want them to say, rather than comment on the reality of the subject at hand.

Overall they are right up there with RT on the political propaganda for their favorite team.

It's not about the slant. While in a perfect world every News Agency would report with out bias, but next to none do. It's more about how far that slant is pushed to become propaganda and outright lies or intended misinformation.

They all lie to support their agendas. Fox is extreme because its audience needs constant reminding of what they think.
Obama is just a shill.

Exactly. He has a huge resource rich country that should have an amazing economy and his smart people can't wait to get out of there. Sort of says it all.

and that's the thing that sets Fox news apart...

They have very little fact checking, and when they're exposed for being wrong -- which happens often -- they don't correct anything, because worst thing that could happen to them is if middle America is not misinformed about the socialist hell our great country is becoming.

MSNBC is slanted to the left, but at least they have intelligent people working there. FOX is a bunch of hack morons who are basically Roger Ailes puppets reading from the conservative doomsday script.

I love watching Fox news just to see what the retards are talking about.

You mean intelligent people like Al Sharpton having a segment to talk about how racism has never been worse.. or Martin Bashir who was fired for saying insanely stupid and inappropriate things? Or Alec Baldwin who is one of my favorite actors and simultaneously one of the most idiotic and incompetent talk show hosts ever who had trouble even stuttering a simple sentence and was fired almost immediately? Mellissa Perry commenting on Romneys "adopted black son" etc etc etc. These are all recent things.

Is it really that hard to see your own bias?

Please give us an example of Fox News being exposed for being wrong where they didn't correct themselves.

Or maybe we should talk about recent events where one anchor had to apologize to Mitt Romney over a racial remark or another anchor being fired for comments about Sarah Palin at MSNBC?

There's a constant stream of misinformation on Fox. I'm not talking about making an offensive comment, which happens from liberals on MSNBC. It's far worse to be guilty of lack of journalistic integrity. Did you know that almost all of their horror stories about people who were hurt by Obamacare have been exposed as being mostly untrue with just a little pushing by other sources?

That's just the tip of the iceberg with their constant stream of misinformation. But you wouldn't know that, because you probably only get your news from the right bubble fantasy world.

I'll give you Al Sharpton. He's a bozo for sure....and I always thought Martin Bashir went a little too overboard.

But inappropriate comments are just opinion. It's not as bad as outright lying, like Fox does constantly.

dont really know why the man that killed osama is compared to the man that puts a pussy riot in jail for 2 years cause they said bad things about him.

the real outrage is why anyone outside crimea has any business caring about what russians do with land they've controlled for hundreds of years. USA doesnt give a shit about israel setting borders. why is ukraines border a global crisis?

Not sure why you included Martin Bashir in your list though.

The faith of a country should be decided by the WHOLE country, if there is a referendum in Ukraine and the majority vote for becoming part of Russia, China, or Mars, that is their will and I will respect it.

Adolf Putin puts the whole World on the brink of fuck knows what for many years to come just so he can satisfy his imperial ambitions.

So what about Quebec or Scotland? Crimea wasn't always just Ukraine. This is a really odd argument.

Stronger, not better.

Personally I think the solution of having two countries' leaders fight instead of a war would be off the table in this case, as my money would definitely be on Putin kicking Obama's ass big time. Even if it's just an arm-wrestle, Putin hands down.

He could probably benchpress Obama.

sperbonzo 03-17-2014 06:19 AM

Of course Putin is "stronger" than Obama. That's obvious.

Stalin and Mao were both "stonger" than Putin also.

"Better" or "worse" would be a more telling question.
