Good overall advice. So what is your dream? (besides seeing Damien banned and your post count reach 100K before the end of this year) ;)

One of the things on that list that I have been doing for a while and find very helpful is making many lists. I have lists for projects I am working on, lists for ideas, to do lists, and all sorts of stuff. If every I find myself with nothing to do I can check a list and find plenty of choices. It also helps me remember ideas I had that I may otherwise have forgotten.

I read an amazing book that changed the way I do business and how I live in general...it's called "Checklist Manifesto"

In line with this...

Write everything down. Take copious notes.

I've started on lists lately also. It's made a big difference, I couldn't believe how much just writing stuff down more helps.

For those talking about making lists, if you haven't already check out Evernote. It is a cool, free program that is great for note taking, saving website pages and organizing everything.

JGA, sounds like an interesting book. I will have to check it out.

I actually met him a few years ago. Hes very down to earth and cares about the average person more than most do.

I probably have all of his books and currently reading "Screw business as usual". He is brilliant.

what about branson: behind the mask by tom bower ?

Scott McD 03-16-2014 11:12 AM

Branson should be in charge of the UK National Lottery.

His attempt a few years ago was blocked by Camelot, and so they continue to rape the UK public and make a complete mess of what should be a good thing for the country and the charities it should support...

#11 I literally have written down tasks on the front of blank trucker hats. I put the hat on and only focus on that task until I put another hat on. I do not do this now but I have in the past.

But then again I am not rolling in dough these days even though I feel "successful".
