I think the 82nd AB were the first guys to see action in the Gulf War.

82nd is the best Airborne infantry unit, and one of the best and craziest units in the US Army. I know from experience. I also know that a lot of them are on their way to Mideast and probably many more will be leaving eventually. A couple free items sent to one trooper in the 82nd would be cool as hell since they dont make a lot of money and are defending America. Plus, word of mouth in the infantry is huge. Send one free thing to someone and everyone will know about it and buy more.

In WWII , the 101st and 82nd Airborne Divisions were elite, involved in the battles of Normandy (D-Day and subsequent weeks) and Holland (Market-Garden), Battle of the Bulge and the Rhine crossing battle. To the French: they were the ones to start the liberation of France early in the morning of June 6th, 1944 - otherwise the British alone wouldn't have had the strength to do it, and the Soviets would have "liberated" Europe from the Nazis up to the Atlantic Ocean.
To the Germans: they were the ones to start the invasion of Germany, enabling more German troops to surrender to the Americans and not to the Soviets, and preventing the Soviets to create a "DDR"/"GDR" for all Germans.
