Jetpack on wp
 

I have stated before that I would suggest you all add it to your wp site(s).

I have noticed they have a new option (I think its new). It reports to you if your wp site is down and for how long (all free).

This is ideal if you have a dedicated server with other sites on it as if your server dies for a short time then you will get an email that the wp site is down. This will allow you to fix it. If the site starts working you get a new email.

This may save some of you a lot of grief.

As I say jetpack is free for wp and has many great things.

Jetpack is great, for many things, but posting to tumblr, twitter, etc,... not so much. It's limited in how it passes along images properly.

JetPack seems to be trying to include many of the more popular plugins all under one roof. It also now includes related post, infinite scroll, tiled galleries and a few others.

also use their CDN for serving images is cool stuff since it saves bandwidth and increases site speed...

Anyone know why Jetpack's tiled galleries plugin sucks for mosaic tiles when making the content area full width? It makes annoying blank spaces around some images that don't get resized wide enough and changing media settings does nothing.. :Oh crap

I use it to autopost to Tumblr and Twitter. For some reason I think "view on Wordpress" makes my blog posts look more legitimate and not spam. Think that's all in my head though lol.

I like that jetpack. Server downtime notification is useful and has nice features

Email signups to blog to create lists is fucking sweet.

Also their login to comment feature using facebook, twitter, etc works great in getting more legit comments.
