I know hostedtube pays out on ads on straight sites - and I know they DONT pay on Gay sites... FAIR PLAY...

But is there ad revenue on 'Tranny' Sites?

I just put up a gay site - They seem to be paying out - Its a few cents but they are appearing on my pimproll stats...

Interesting - I've always thought that the policy was that gay sites dot pay on ads - But I could be wrong and it may have changed - for example - I see 24 cents on my gay site - and $274.00 on my best performing straight site...

However, I really did think that the gay sites didn't pay on ads? Perhaps a pimproll rep could confirm?

That gay site went up yesterday and its already fully indexed and those 13 visitors from today are all Google - I might put up a few of those new domains and see what happens...

Well my one, has earn't 24 cents in the period of a year lol - You must have the 'Gay Touch' :winkwink:

That is strange - Those stats are bizarre when you compare them to mine - 13 compared to 5400:error...

Shhhh... You'll get us both banned !

I mean, I only expect to make pennies on my HostedTubes anyway... Better than parking the domains - But across the board, ALL my AD rev is down by like 70% compared to when I started last year :)

Same here mate - As you know, I made most of my money before the internet - and now I'm retired...

But its nice to make a lil bit more than the reg fee - as Tescos say = EVERY LITTLE HELPS :)

CS, on my gay hosted tube, I have the ads selection set for 50% between the paid ads and Pimproll Paysites. I am getting actual paysite signups to Pimproll's Gay Sites, albeit infrequently, but signups nonetheless.

Try playing with that section of your hosted tube. You can find it here:

HostedTube.com > Edit Your Site > Design and Layout > Ad Zones > Ad Distribution (set to 50%)

Try variations of that to find the sweet spot for your revenue versus impressions.

In late January we added a new keyword targeting feature to Traffic Force, allowing our advertisers to bid on Gay traffic across our network, more importantly, Hosted Tube. It is still ramping up right now, we expect it to continue to grow over the coming weeks as we continue to market this traffic to our clients.

At this time, we didn't open up transsexual tube sites in Traffic Force just yet, we want to focus on Gay first and make it as competitive as we can. We'll have further news soon regarding the transsexual stuff.

Oh and just to clear this up since it could be misunderstood, we didn't sell ads on gay sites before January but we had ads to PIMPROLL gay sites on your tubes, you were paid on all sales generated from your tubes to our gay sites.

Just didn't want anyone running with the notion that we kept your gay traffic. You know how the GFY members can be at times :winkwink:
