I just posted on Tumblr about this actually. My best guess was they felt too much liability regarding 2257 laws. With Twitter - yes there is a lot of porn but it's mostly people reposting/stealing/whatever professionally shot stuff. Vine was mostly amateurs/attention seekers shooting themselves.

They are asking all people with nudity or porn on their accounts to delete It or they will be banned when people flag the videos, so you can still upload porn but It might be gone in a couple of hours or never

Had to happen eventually. It always does. :(

I'm still making money on vine... it's a little bit of work but I'm doing even better since they started deleting accounts.
