Based on the responses in this thread; I'd say it's the other way around

I heard about this and this was twisted a little, as far as I understand he just told what people on the streets thought about this, meaning he just (re)told the rumor and not his opinion.

Yup, it's just some random guy speculating, zero fact or anything of substance.

But the article - published by RT for chrissakes, the media propaganda wing of the Russian govt - is just going off the proven assumption that most dense fools will just skim the text and see "authenticated" "leaked phone call" etc and believe what they want to believe without comprehending the actual content. It's a classic propaganda approach, throw a bunch of shit out there so your message gets saturated in the mediasphere as many ways as possible.

What cracks me up is that WHP routinely believes governments and shadow organizations are involved in all these implausible conspiracies, yet he totally trusts Putin and the Russian government off all things and thinks they will save the world. Not sure where that came from for him.
