How do you do a bad job at ripping a ticket in half?

At our local Cineplex theatre - after the $30 for two admits and another $32 for popcorn and drink for the wife and I, there's nothing left to tip the ticket ripper.

His shitty wage and no tip should be inspiration to better himself, continue his education and get a more lucrative career.

I tip well and a lot of people but never a ticket ripper. :2 cents:

I am usually a big tipper. Even more so in town where I am most likely to see the same waiter / waitress again.

I would never tip a ticket ripper. Same way I would never tip the gas station woman.
I save my tips for hobos and waitresses that do a good job.

I don't tip them for ripping the ticket. I tip them for giving me directions to my seat.

One day when I feel in the mood I might answer that with "or what?", as if they are telling me what to do, and seeing what their response is. I probably won't, but at the moment I'm thinking I'd like to.

At Pacific Theaters employees are not allowed to take tips.
