One must assume that's ballpark salary then

Its a frame of reference on how much it costs to live in QC.

For example, average wage to live comfortably in NYC is what? 80k to 100k? Same in LA?

Salaries are based on experience and a few other conditions. I don't give out numbers publicly because they can vary depending on whom applies.

Should I be insulted, then, that your official offer to me was not money, but "whatever parts of my sandwich I don't finish at lunch, as well as unlimited use of the urinal closest to the door for showering and lavatory purposes"??

They could probably give him (if he would not be very keen on funding pirates, but I do not think decent/honest people would apply for a job there in the first place) non pirate field while other media buyers would handle pirate sites.
